Mrs. Johnson’s Story

Mrs. Johnson called the 24/7 nurse line because she was supposed to see her Urologist, but was told by her insurance company that they didn't cover her transportation and she had no way to get there. The ChartSpan clinician advised her that we could assist her in finding another local transportation resource. Thankfully, the transportation resource center informed her that Medicaid would cover her transportation.

The ChartSpan care team then notified Mrs. Johnson's provider of the details so that he could get everything set up before her rescheduled appointment. Mrs. Johnson was thankful to have transportation assistance and that burden off her shoulders.

We were able to find Mrs. Johnson another local transportation resource so that she could get to her appointments.
